Trade possibly gone bad, need advice

Ok guys I need some advice. I set up a trade with a member on this forum and we were supposed to ship the knives yesterday and get back with tracking numbers. The last I have heard from him was wednesday night despite my email giving him the tracking number and 2 other asking about my shipment. I still have not heard from him. This is weird because I traded with him a couple weeks ago and everything went smoothly.

I am considering calling my post office and trying to cancel the shipment until he responds to me. I sent it priority with DC yesterday so it should be delivered tomorrow or saturday if I dont take action. It is an expensive knife so I dont want to just "take a loss."

Has anyone had this situation? What is the acceptable thing to do?

the last you heard from him was last night? its not even been a day. things happen man, give him a couple of days or so before you start worrying.

Na last I heard from him was 2 nights ago. I would wait and say things happen but once the package is delivered I am kinda SOL.
 
First off I think you are a bit premature. I would wait a day or so more.
Second things like this are suppose to be posted in Good the Bad and the Ugly. NOT general discussion
 
I give it about 5 days before I get too concerned. People have lives out side of the forum and things happen.

For example, I lost my internet connection for a few days over the weekend from a dead power supply. And it took 2 business days to get a new one. That's 4 days w/o being connected.

Hang in there.
 
The person just got back to me, thanks for making me think sanely. I guess I have just had such good communication with all the members here I got nervous prematurely over nothing. I'll chalk this up to BF members being gentlemen and scholars haha.
 
haha yea I have just read about that. I will do my best to get as much info from him as possible if he contacts me.
