I picked up a gen 2 ZT0550 and I forgot about the generation changes. I carry lefty so I would prefer to have the flat Ti side. Let me know if anyone is interested. I can also anodize it any color you want (within my best ability based on colors Ti changes to via anodizing) here is a pic of it now. I will also need the clip thinking about it so I can send that too.


waiting on an email from Kershaw to see if this is even possible. In the mean time I would entertain trades for a good condition Gen 1. This knife pictured is brand new I just anodized the Ti.

Would you be interested in other knives for a trade? And could you add a photo of the other side of the knife? FYI, that is a gorgeous ano job. Very professional.

I am looking just for the lock side. I would like to keep my blade. Maybe the trade should consist of the entire body so the liner and the Ti lock side go together.

I am not looking to trade the entire knife. Thanks for the props on the ano I really like messing around with different designs and colors. This blue is one of my favorites.
 
It was brought to my attention that the Ti lock side might not be universal, so I have an inquiry into Kershaw/ZT to see what they have to say. i would also be interested in a full trade for the right 0550 or 0551. I am not a huge fan of the Elmax but if it is in good condition and it is a Gen 1 I would consider the trade.
 
I heard back from kershaw and they confirmed that the gen1 and gen2 lock sides are not interchangeable. So i have a deal pending but I figured I would update people if they where also wondering.
