Hey all.
I received this knife last Friday. I bought it from a fellow member and was pumped to finally own an SnG CC. As a side note, I was actually looking for a flamed Ti lockface CC with a tiger striped blade. Lo and behold, one just happened to pop up on the exchange yesterday. I splurged. I had to buy it...and I did. That brings me here to the trade forum.
The knife looks immaculate. I am not stretching the truth here. Stonewashed titanium lock side, stonewashed blade. NO markings on either. The edge looks factory and unused. In fact, the gentleman I bought it from said it sat in his Pelican case since the day he bought it...and it shows. The G10 is great, smooth, and mint. The pivot face is a bit scratched, probably from a pivot tool. Centering is leaning a hair toward the lock side but is nothing bothersome and virtually unseen. The action is smooth. The lockup is around 55%, and there is absolutely no stick; she opens and closes smooth as butter. Blade play is minimal and only occurs if you really wrench on it. Not much else to say other than this is a premium model of the Strider species.
Trades: I am absolutely open to whatever. I like frame locks, knives that fit well in the pocket, rare, strange, unique. I still need an XM-18, prefer the 3" version, any grind. CRK of sorts. Maybe an exotic Emerson. It doesn't matter. Send me whatever you think would be fitting.
