Hey guys,
Up for consideration is my SnG. This is the best Strider model I have owned, and I have owned 3 SnG's. No blade play, no lock rock. The lock sticks one time out of 20 deployments..to me this is not an issue. It is better in my opinion to have a little stick versus a rocking lock. Perfectly centered as well. Lockup is around 50%. The white around the pivot in the pics is only teflon tape.
It sports the S30V steel. When I got the knife off here, it was so dull I could run the edge over my skin carelessly. I reprofiled it to a 20dps bevel, with a 25dps micro. Now it will cut thru paper, whittle what arm hair you have left, and cut anything in the real world you put it up to. I took this camping a couple days ago and was blown away by how well it whittles woods, cuts rope, etc.. Yes, this knife has been used. If you're looking for a safe queen, this is not it.
Condition overall is 9.5/10. The flamed Ti side showed a few scuffs, nothing deep, and the pocket clip has some wear as well. The blade is in great shape, with only one scratch not visible to the camera eye; the cerakote makes it very hard to see.
Comes with the stock Ranger Green scale, as well as a Cuscadi Python Micarta scale. This scale is beautiful, but the guy I bought it from didn't mention that the backspacer had a crack in it. You CANNOT even tell once it's installed and screwed down, nor does it effect the function in any way...it still locks up very tight. Comes with a Pete Gray lbs as well as the oem one.
Trade interests: I am mainly looking for knives of similar value. Cash can go both ways.
Email me at rwasick88@gmail.com...outside of bf of you want to guarantee I get it. Thank Ya!
