Nice grouping Bigfattyt !! Mind if I ask what model is the smaller Schrade? And that Queen is an especially interesting. I have not seen a lot of 3 blade canoes. Could it be called a Railsplitter Canoe? :) A beautiful knife regardless what it is called. -James

One of the more beautiful modern folders SV-97 SV-97 . To be sure. They do have their issues though. All things considered, one of the most effective and efficient blades of any knife I have.

What issues does your have? I have the linerlock version and apart from too tight tolerances when disassembling it's just great.

The RR is a great knife, the issues are for 1, the clip. Its only tip down carry, and the clip is way too big. Its somewhat intrusive when gripping. And they put lanyard hole in it? MNS. And drilled on the presentation side for the clip. The jimping is useless. Flipper that is not smooth enough for a knife at that price point, plus thumb studs. Pick one. The lock side is lower than the presentation side, making you apply more downward pressure than outward pressure when releasing the lock. Its got some issues, especially at the price point that its at.

Still, @ SV- 97, all in all............

I got 2 of 'em. I like 'em alot.

Nice, was the scrim done aftermarket? If so, who did it?
Thank you, Yea Bob Herbert did the scrim. He's pretty well known in the knife world. Just so happens it a small world and he's a friend of mine. He's got a website and specializes in micro-scrimshaw.

Redsparrow, the smaller Schrade is a GEC made 73 pattern. The larger is a 23 pattern Schrade. Both made in 2007 by GEC.

Great knives if you can find them.

The three blade canoe is a Queen/Purdue collaboration. Twin spear point blades, with a coping blade. I think I’d call it a gunboat???

I have been after an Etched Boys Knife of Lyles for quite some time, I simply love the story behind the making of this Knife, Have a TON of respect for Lyle, and love the Knives that he and Bill came up with- real proud to have this duo!
