View attachment 1066416 Here are a couple of D-2 Knives. The Keyshaw Tyrade has a composite blade. The spine is 154-CM and the working edge is CPM D-2.
The Knives of Alaska DiamondBlade Summit has Friction Forged D-2 blade which is hardened to 65-68 HRC.
Both of these versions of D-2 are supposed to have better corrosion resistance than regular D-2.
 
It looks really really nice on, I guess #73?
I should try it on mine.
