Traditional and Modern pairings

Thank you my friend :)

Working on one. Using it daily and want to give it a few months of honest use and sharpening before I make a write up.

I know your thorough, should have asked about first impressions but ill save my questions for email.

Been gettin a lot of miles out of this combo( thanks Kevin). The M4 steel in the mini grip is the best I have used. Everyone already knows how I feel about my 55

They are looking good! You are very welcome. Could not have found a better home for a hard working knife.

Since I picked up the Case Backpocket I've been carrying this trio with me:

The Benchmade 940 Osborn for the clipped folder that I'm used to, the Backpocket because I really love the look and feel, and the SAK Alox cadet for its multiple uses and thinness.

What model is that Sheepsfoot ?
The more I see those knives the more I " Want " :)
I get totally confused with the GEC models .
Great combo

Ken

THAT is the single blade sheepsfoot GEC #15EO Scout that my friend xceptnl has been sticking in my face these past weeks 'cos he knows that I don't have one.

They are a bit hard to find now. The only ones I see have the Nifebrite covers. I'm still hunting for one with ebony covers like his.

Not rubbing it in others faces, just dangling the carrot. The Nifebrite are still available from dealers however the Ebony, Rust Red Jigged Bone, and Antique Yellow Jigged Bone must be found on the secondary market and are listed from easiest to hardest to find.
I told you Linus, I will give you my ebony if you find me a jigged in either color. ;)

Thanks for the kind offer buddy but if and when I find a jigged #15 scout ahead of you, IT STAYS IN SINGAPORE!!!;);)
Man....those are rarer than hen's teeth! Ah well.....all part of the joys of collecting traditionals.
You have a good day now!
