Traditional and Modern pairings

This Adventurer is a liner lock…would a slide lock model qualify is as a “traditional”? I only ask because I don’t know how far back in history that particular style of lock was used.

Looking at that model online, it appears the lock is similar to what we see on a TL-29 Electrician's knife, as opposed to a Walker type liner lock. It doesn't appear to be a one hand opener either. If that's the case, it looks OK to me.

With me today; Boker Gent and a City Knife from Kansei Matsuno (with a Walker type linerlock) .

Thank you for taking the time to clarify, I appreciate it. Not to be a burden, but would the slide lock on the large SAKs also be considered a traditional lock, or would it be a modern design? It’s a bit of an oddball so I’m not sure where these Vics belong in this section of the forum.
