Modified sheep’s foot with compound grind.Interesting blade shape on the Viper. Sent me on a search to find out what it was called. Various vendors listed it as a tanto or "modified sheepsfoot". It doesn't look like either one to me. Is there a specific purpose for it? Or just trying something different? Given my amateurish sharpening skills, it looks hard to sharpen. I'd probably have to hire a professional
Piqued my interest. Good conversation starter![]()
Thanks, Paul! It is a nice little knife and his wife made the sheath. I've always liked Arno's work!- love it, GaryPeregrin beautifully done, very sweet knife..........reminds me of this one, below, I bought many years from Arno in South Africa

I was attracted to it, at first, all those years ago because it has a similar theme to some of the Harley Davidson graphics - and even at my age I still have the iconic HD skulls on my bike, but in a subtle manner compared to some. As you can imagine, the size and blade design sealed the buy in my head.Very nice! Just went on a little hint through the 'net in search of.
Thank you for the reply.
