Traditional and Modern pairings

It's surprising how useful and versatile a pen blade-sized Wharncliffe can be.

I'd like to find out. That is a gorgeous Ohta!

Do you have other pictures of it, Rick?

So am i right in saying you like Spydies? haha but i like the variety here, this is what i hope to amass, very cool.

I have both "modern" and traditional knives. For one hand though I tend to carry my small Case fixed blade. I've ordered a couple of Buck Bantams (medium and large) to go with my modern knives. I do leather work to so carry my knives in sheath or pouch...maybe I'll do a double sheath for an assist open and a traditional, seems like a good idea. Thanks.

Hey lobo, indeed I like spy's, but is more a collector and sharpening nut thing, I don't carry them that much because of the threatening look.
I think is one of the companies that are investing a lot on search+development of new steels lock types etc.

Started the day with this combo (picture taken a couple weeks ago on another rainy day):

When I got home this afternoon there was a package waiting to be opened, so now I have this combo:

peanutCRKTFeb23_zps4402f355.jpg

The CRKT has the same size and similar profile wharncliffe blade as the leek, but with a much more egonomic handle.

Doug, What model is the CRKT? Nice G10

Lately it's been these. I carry at work the SnG in a fantastic leather sheath I purchased from R.Müller with my MSP linerlock, paired with either the Peanut or the 2011 forum knife. The Strider and the 2011 are a match made in heaven, but the peanut is nice too. However it loves to slip out of my pockets unnoticed.
