Both carried for social reasons, but opposite social reasons.
Cutco / Cutco EDC - in love with my KSF City Sheath. I had been looking for an excuse to downsize the amount of cards, etc. I carry.
I just began carrying a traditional + modern pairing in the last few days, and may phase completely away from modern. I've always carried a modern folder for its speed of deployment - a "what if I'm attacked by a wolverine" knife. But as I am well into my pudgy years, it may be time to transition fully to traditional.(...)]
A wolverine can smell if you have a modern tactical knife, will therefore assume you want to fight it and will naturally attack. It is known. But if it senses you have a traditional, it will respect you as a steely-eyed mountain man of old and will go on to easier prey like a Kodiak or maybe a polar bear...

Randy, That's a City Knife made by Kansei Matsuno, a Japanese maker. The blade is Thomas Spirograph Stainless Damascus. It's 3 5/8", a really nice knife to use, and it's one of my favorites.Gary that first knife is beautiful what it?
My city sheath is like my favorite thing ever. Having a folder with a 3.5" blade that isn't being annoying in your pocket is pretty great. Still leaves you open for having a pocket clip sheath for another knife, too. 😊Oh man, I don't know if I'm just a slow learner, but I had never thought to use a City Sheath for a folder - that's genius, my friend! I assume it's working well for you?
