Traditional folders and watches/timepieces

I really dislike when that happens. 🤬😡

Supposedly the Renata Bats I ordered are the "best" watch batteries available. I will be happy if they last as long as the original Forester battery. A bit over almost 9 years.

Be strange having two functioning watches ...

Still thinking about which of my existing pocket knives will pair best with the R1 and it's quasi-retro vibe. Carry for the 4th.

Love a good Vaer watch. I’ve owned two and not only are they fun, solid watches, but the guys running the company are great and super communicative whenever you have questions. I hope they continue growing and doing well.

This is my second Vaer. I'm happy to see a company trying to bring watch manufacturing back to the US, and unless their quality/ support goes downhill I can see myself continuing to support their endeavor. :)

forgot this one. Charged the bat, still have the app on the "smart"phone, so it has the "correct" tyme.
SAK seemed a good choice for the picture, since the watch does more than tell the tyme.

and the Hercules is part of my EDC...

Not sure, but my manual whined pocket watch might be working again. Last I checked it run for over 46 minutes!!!
Edit #2 Pocket watch has been going over 3 hours!!! I hope it keeps it up.

edit:
I been using military tyme for decades.I always set my watches that allow (and tablets, computers, "smart"phones) to show the 24 hour clock.

That Vaer watch has been on my mind since you posted it. I was unfamiliar with the brand. Very nice. Going on the hunt.

They've got 3 different colorways for the R1, all three in 38mm and 42mm case sizes. I almost went with the all black dial, and made a last second change to the cream dial. Glad I did, it's unique IMHO.

Pic thread.

I hear you. It was the color scheme of yours that first caught my eye!
