two new pocket watches (quartz and digital) in yesterday's mail call.
GEG 828318 Dixie Stockman and Bunny Number 291.
Pens are a Esterbrook "J" and an circa 1947 Waterman's "Ideal" lever fills.
Inked with Blue (Waterman's) and brown/"sepia" (Esterbrook) "Archival" inks.

To help save or prolong the life of the bat or bats, the digital turns off the display after 10 minutes.

What model is that Vaer watch please? It looks like the Korean Field, but not quite. I like the hand configuration on this one better. Thanks!

It is the Korean Field, but the most recent version. (edit, mine is the 36mm version) Slight changes/ refinements, and solar quartz. I agree about the hands, prefer the current version much better.

Daytona is a little lighter / more comfortable than my daily wear Submariner. Small dials are hard to see without bifocals. Chose the black dial over the white dial (aka Panda). If I wore white shirts to work the Panda would work but the black dials are more masculine / classy. Bark ivory 68 is no slouch, two blade single spring true slipjoint (no halfstop).
