Of course pressed horn was the most frequent but ivory was probaly the second choice, for top ends like marriage gifts or for the bourgeoisie. When you'd buy a knife for the life, you better choose a sustanaible material and ivory was supplied in quantity by AEF.Thanks for that info JM. Ivory and stag are not common materials for laguioles, it must have been an interesting brand.
