I'm aware of the situation in the UK. It's a shame.

For a change a first one of the many knives I brought back from the Auvergne.

An "Alpin" from MCThiers. The blade is made of N690 steel, the handles are made of desert ironwood.

They are so much more svelte than a 73. Nice looking horn.

A few more pictures of Coutellia, the table by Robert Cécon from Laguiole. Robert started his own business last year after more than 30 years with some of the “big” manufacturers in Laguiole. He now produces mid-range Laguioles in his workshop in Laguiole.

Another knife that I bought in Thiers. A used “Le Thiers” from Chambriard that I bought from a French collector friend. The handle scales are made of lime burl wood.
