Robert started his own business last year after more than 30 years with some of the “big” manufacturers in Laguiole. He now produces mid-range Laguioles in his workshop in Laguiole.

Another knife that I bought in Thiers. A used “Le Thiers” from Chambriard that I bought from a French collector friend. The handle scales are made of lime burl wood.
