Vincent VCM3 VCM3 has always had a knack for finding high value knives, whether they are customs or now these excellent French imports that he offers.
Thanks ! I think they are great . Tough ,very lightweight & very corrosion resistant . The thin, nice sized slicey blade is the icing .

Anyone can look me up to see what's piled up around here ,lol. I wrote it somewhere ,I forgot ,but as far as some of these French folders are concerned ,I didn't go down a rabbit hole ,I went down a mine shaft ! 🤷‍♂️ 🥰 👍

I concur that they cut/slice well as I used mine to slice up an apple for lunch today.

While the knife arrived fairly sharp, I just finished setting a 17 degree edge on it and it took a wonderful sharp edge, hair popping!

These are EXCELLENT work-knives, well fitted, strong yet light and great value. Unlike many French knives, the tang is shielded Copperhead fashion so no rip in in the pocket, safe to use as almost impossible to slip onto the blade in use.Great lock-up action and NO blade play (GEC take note....)
I have one, a great gift from a great man Jolipapa Jolipapa in Orange which is kept in the shed at the country place for garden use, easy to find! The other in Green I got for myself and its slicing ability is remarkable, a notably hard, tough piece of Italian Salami (truffle flavoured...) is tackled with ease, mouthwatering thin slices for aperitif time or with a beer

Thanks, Will

Splendid rendition of a truly special working hack, whose distinctive feature is that the mouche / lock blade is released by partially opening the other blade (usually a sturdy saw, as Rumilly is a region of mountains and forests).
Too bad there's only a single blade, which means it lacks the most amazing feature that makes the Rumilly so unique.

I will have to get back to Cyril for a « trois pièces ». I loved thé Rumilly he had in the « concours » at Coutellia, a « deux pièces » with a saw. If he can add a corkscrew to that I will be sold….
