Back from the menders I chose Olivewood to replace the damaged Juniper. It's not as striking but it is still a great wood and the courtesy & professionalism shown by Liadour is very impressive indeed.

These smaller versions are no pygmies a very decent size.

How do you like that H&K? I have experience with Glock, Sig, S&W M&P, Springfield, etc, but I’ve never fired an H&K.

If you move to my part of the state you would have no problem getting a CCW. Where you live there isn’t much chance unless you are a movie star or politician.

I like it a lot. My favorite pistol by far is the 1911, but they are heavy, expensive, and low capacity. Perhaps most damning is they are costly to feed. I started shooting plastic fantastics because I wanted a lighter, more economical, less troublesome tool.

The VP9 is almost as easy to shoot as Old Slabsides, more so than my Glock or Sig. I am much more confident with calling my shots with this gun than I am other polymer pistols. The only real issue I have with it is the pricey magazines.

Getting a CCW has become easier in my county. I'm thinking of applying, but before I do I think I'll get a VP9K (compact-sized) first.

Think not, more likely Swedish Its compact size makes it very useful in confined spaces.
