Thank you Christian. Agreed, Very hard to find, though, but what pleasure when one discovers one.I really like that knife Harvey. Perhaps it's simply too much of a good thing, but I much prefer the older Opinels and their markings over the contemporary offerings.

I don't have an 8cm Laguiole, but I do have a 7cm one. It's basically a French version of a Peanut. Not sure if that's too small for you, but it is a really nice little knife!Can anyone post a comparison photo of an 8cm Laguiole open next to something I know such as a Wenger SI, a Douk-Douk, or maybe a GEC 15.
