The blades remind me of smoko designs by knifemaker Paul-Emmanuel Arestan originakly from France & now lives in Australia. He has the blades produced in Thiers for the smokos.

Are they so short in name inspiration they named her Pradel? I don't judge the knife, just the curious marketing, it's like branding a Camaro "Beetle"...
This is a new pattern of their own, some will like, other won't, but where's the link to the Pradel (with the anchor) folder?

I like those restored knives waynorth . Though obviously part of the same tradition, they have a personality that the newer laguioles do not necessarily share.

You've notice I've given up, as I say any day is good for French Fries-day but take heart...today actually IS Friday here in North America !

reusing this one, as it was handy to grab and the knife is a great cutter !
