That's a fact
That is one of the reasons I have made this post. It’s always easy to complain if things go wrong but rarely people care to write about positive things - which in the end are probably more important as the negative points.
I'm sure their reputation and your comments has earned them additional business. That is one of the reasons I have made this post. I‘m very happy with the way it worked out.
Enjoy your weekend.
Happy to hear they took care of your problem so well! All of my Perceval knives came direct from them and I always had a very pleasant experience. They even let me choose the covers before the knife was made in one instance. They aren't cheap, but you do get what you pay for.Unfortunately sometime in October I dropped my Perceval Le Francais Vintage on a tile floor and part of a scale broke of.

After contacting Perceval they offered to rescale the knife at their factory. Fortunately with me living in Germany and the factory in France that was esay to handle for me. Shipping took 1 week each way and after 3 weeks I just got the reworked knife back for French Friday.

I must say I‘m impressed with the qu of service Perceval provided. The whole process was very professional and they even offered me two options for the replacement scales (due to the way the knife is set up they had to replace both scales).
I can only recommend Perceval. The knifes are of high quality and the service is exceptional.
Glad they stand behind their knives. Beautiful wood on yours.Unfortunately sometime in October I dropped my Perceval Le Francais Vintage on a tile floor and part of a scale broke of.

One for the car and one for my pocket as I travel about.View attachment 1991920 Enjoy the day everyone.
Enjoy your travels; and yes they are a perfect substitute.I like that. Going on a road trip tomorrow, and I'm taking one of my laguioles. As I won't have my kitchen cutlery handy, the long blade on a 12 cm laguiole should prove useful if I have to cut any food.
Yes! I love a good Canadian (or Lumberman) and have several in the rotation.Do you also call this pipe pattern "Canadian"? It was my favorite.
