The knife of the "Passion Laguiole" 2022 forum made by Jérôme Latreille.

A fine and elegant knife, robust, 13cm Laguiole knife

Spring with leaf decoration made by guilloche and engraving, plates plugged inside, mirror polished inside spring and satin finished outside spring which contrasts with the mirror polished plates. The mechanism is entirely mirror polished for more smoothness in use. Flush knurling and classic knurling blade axle on a brass rosette for visual contrast with the carbon fiber. XC75 steel blade.

I hesitate to post this, with all these Aristos, Chatelaines (maybe a few demi-mondes ;)) of the French cutlery Cosmos so beautifully displayed. But here's the other side of the medal, a rough, crude paysan a tough dour worker, but I like this Gouttière pattern and it's not so common. Real CHOPPER en bois d'olive

Of course, will France retain The World Cup on Sunday? I confess that I " Vamos, vamos Argentina! Vamos, vamos a ganar!

Thank you for sharing those pics Corto_Malt Corto_Malt . I had the option to order one of these and was very tempted by the 13cm size, but failed to pull the trigger. Add it to my list of regrets. What a beauty.

It's a beauty!! I now regret that, when I was at La Monnerie - Le Montel, I arranged with Jerome for him to bring me the knife to
Thiers in May. Anyhow, it's definitely something to look forward to.

Wow. I think I count 60 laguioles there, with exquisite variety in cover materials, guillochage, and mouche. Bravo!

Thank you for sharing that.
Thank you for the kind words kamagong! But I don‘t have no merit whatsoever! The praise is due to all the knife makers, some of them real artists who made these knives! May their hands be blessed and may their creativity never dry up.
