Thanks, gentlemen.
You know, I used to be active on some guitar, gun and political forums, but after he passed, I mostly lost interest. The warm comraderie of this place drew me in. I can’t imagine sharing such personal stuff on those other forums, and I appreciate your indulgence for letting me share. This Christmas is going to be tough.

My oldest gun and my oldest knife. My Grandpa’s old Springfield 12ga, and his wonderful old Camillus EO.

I remember him showing me how pencils got pointy with it, and cutting twine in the garden.

I couldn’t find any more pics in my catalog and I don’t believe I have that particular knife any longer. It was a Western folding hunter knife.
