Traditional Knife and Gun Picture Thread

Today was a long day at the VFW. We all had some great discussions and it’s important that we do talk about our experiences and feelings. I can ‘relax’ on “The Porch” in the same way that you speak of, as well.

House tote every single day. I may not use them, but they’re always with me at home. I find the gun very pocketable, even with 124 grain on 8+1 rounds. I use this side holster sometimes. It’s cheap, however, it works well for quick draw and on-and-off waistbands.

I love my M&P shield 9 it’s so easy to carry and like you I always have one when heading out the door . You never know if It will be the day it can save a loved one or innocent bystanders life or your own . I feel it’s better to have and not need then need and not have .
Fortunately I also live in a state that allows you to carry with proper training and permits . I spent 20 years of the earlier part of my life in the Armored truck industry so it was bread into me lol.
Anyway nice choice of carry .
Great minds think a like and they are sweet shooters !

I love looks of that pistol. Have wanted to shoot one for awhile now.

I like Winchester White Box, exclusively in my M&P. I was gonna ask how it went with your new piece. Not bad for the first time out @8 yards. I prefer to practice at at that distance as well in an indoor range.

I do prefer Federal HSTs for my .45. I’m gonna try other newer Federal rounds, but I have a lot of HSTs.

That acronym has nothing to do with my name.

Holiday CRK on call tonight. Needed it for boxes and larger cutting tasks. I really like the Inkosi and CRKs DP blade.

It’s a great gun and actually had a VP9 that I let go a while ago and loved it to . Really regretted getting rid of it and was going to buy another since I still have 6 or 7 mags for it . Instead got a smoking deal from a big box store on this VP40 so couldn’t pass it up . Real nice shooter and very tame considering the 40cal can be a little punchy depending on the gun . Very accurate , fun to shoot and HK quality and dependability there known for . Now I just need to pick up a few more mags since it only came with two . Mags are spendy though about forty to fifty a mag when you can find them .
Picked up a CrossBreed combat cut IWB and it’s a sweet holster . Passed with flying colors at the range so now she’s ready for carry:thumbsup: and what a nice trigger!

I was impressed with how clean the Winchester white box was when I went to clean the HK it was barely dirty .
For target rounds they felt hotter then most to .
I usually shoot 8 to 10 yards that way I can see we’re im hitting lol especially with a new gun to see we’re I need to hold with that sight picture .
For sure it can produce nice tight groups. The last mag I just point shot with a quick sight picture so they spread out a little but the tighter group I was using the reset and taking my time to see what she could do .

I shoot 500 rounds a week - all different - long gun, 9mm & .45.

I use to shoot a lot more but only about once a month now .
It’s great therapy for me lol .
Think I need to shoot more often lol
