Ok lets rock a Sharps (Model 1875 in .45-70) made by Sharps. Not a replica. I mentioned this project a while back and got er done recently. Project was to build the case/bag that Quigley was carrying his rifle in when he steps off the ship in Australia. Dang with that 34" barrel its hard to get the whole thing in the pic.

Rifles don't get much cooler. Wish it was mine. Doc paid $500 extra for a wood upgrade and worth every penny! The pics don't even begin to do justice to the wood.
Here's where the rest of the buffalo hide went. Kinda suits the them:

Dave you have posted some beautiful guns before, but this Sharps may well be the nicest! Outstanding Walnut and Case hardening on the receiver. The 36 cal is not bad either. Not to take anything at all away from your leather and knife work they are stellar as usual! Thanks for the treat. I think ole Matthew Quigley would approve!!Ok lets rock a Sharps (Model 1875 in .45-70) made by Sharps. Not a replica. I mentioned this project a while back and got er done recently.
