Ok lets rock a Sharps (Model 1875 in .45-70) made by Sharps. Not a replica. I mentioned this project a while back and got er done recently. Project was to build the case/bag that Quigley was carrying his rifle in when he steps off the ship in Australia. Dang with that 34" barrel its hard to get the whole thing in the pic.

A buffalo rifle must be photographed on a buffalo hide. Its a rule somewhere:

Rifles don't get much cooler. Wish it was mine. Doc paid $500 extra for a wood upgrade and worth every penny! The pics don't even begin to do justice to the wood.

Here's where the rest of the buffalo hide went. Kinda suits the theme:

What's her bore, and do you ever fire it?
She's much fancier than the gun I used when I did Civil War Reenactments.
(Our gun 4 inch bore, cast iron with steel liner, we only fired blanks.)
