This little .22 smith & wesson model 61 was my grandfathers, and now in possession of my uncle. I have it for cleaning and put a few rounds through it today. Kinda weird but neat pistol.

If you can afford the springfield it’s definitely worth it, but if you can’t then tisas is a great option. I paid $350 for the 1911a1 GI model. As of today I’ve put 700 rounds through it and it’s been awesome. This is an old pic when my collarbone was still broken so I was shooting one handed. Maybe 15 yards or so, can’t remember.
