Traditional Knife and Gun Picture Thread

The grip is from the big .500 X frame S&W revolvers.
The later S&W grip frames are the same on the K, L, N and X frames so the grip interchanges, it has a cushioned back strap where
the standard rubber grip is open and will pound the hand pretty good with magnum loads.
The black powder chamfer is original to the Classic series revolvers.

Very nice. They sure are fun - I really love shooting mine.
Traditional knives and single actions just go so well together…my Super Blackhawk. I should confess though that I usually carry with a Buck folding Alpha Hunter (with matching scrimshaw covers/scales)…the lack of a closed blade well in that liner lock makes cleaning out “gunk” so much easier.

That's a beauty. I've been thinking about a new .44 Mag and the SB is at the top of the list.
