Traditional knife for survival

I'm on an airplane at the moment, so my "survival knife" is a SwissCard with the blade removed, a P-38, and a Leatherman 6.

I'm guessing you're not talking about a Walther P-38! ;) :D Have a safe flight

When I was a scout, we lived in Alaska during my high school years. My troop was active and in the outdoors regardless of the weather.

My two standbys: a Buck 112 folder and a Buck 102 bird/trout sheath knife. Depending on the trip, I'd take one or the other. Both stood up well under any condition.
