Jake- Wow...I might declare myself the winner of that one lol...seriously my friend what a pleasure to take that in and it be an offering on behalf of you- What a beauty - Jake Thank you for your generosity, I will add this into the OP!

She looks a bit like one of our European Lynxes:D

Never been lucky enough to see one in the wild as they're rare here in Finland, it angers me that hunting licences to kill nearly 400 a year are still given out when it's such a rare and elusive cat:poop:

Also interested in Scottish Wild Cats, the only true Wild Cat in Britain, they cannot be tamed, and sadly the genuine full breeds are getting rare. I made a donation to the Scottish Wild Cat foundation recently, which does some captive breeding and re-introduction in the Scottish Highlands. Where's pmew these days??o_O

Thanks, Will
We think she may have a bit of bobcat in her somewhere because her mother was born out in the country where they're everywhere and the cats have been known to mate with them.
We also believe there's some manx in there s somewhere because of their Long back feet.
She's got some wild markings, mostly tabby but also some bobcat style spots along with some hints of rusty brown here and there.

Thanks for that Johnny, that was fantastic. In a way there are parallels to my boy "Buddy" who is and always will be my avatar, and my sig line pays homeage to him as well. "Best Ever" in my book, my oldest brother is a devote pheasant hunter and was totally awestruck at how smart Buddy Boy was. My brother, like me has had many dogs and the highest compliment he paid Buddy Boy was simply that he had never seen a dog as smart. My brother was right. In addition to Buddy Boys vast wisdom was a heart that exceeded his body. Thanks for that very neat recollection:cool::thumbsup:

Paul, it’s amazing the affects a great dog has on one’s life. I’ve seen a dog’s wisdom put a man’s to shame.

I had a “buddy”, he was a little jack russle and he was my first dog. He ended up being a farm dog and roamed about bringing a smile to everyone’s face, kinda community property.

Great idea for GAW, Duncan! The posts so far have been great!

I'll see if I can get a photo with the dog and a knife together, but for now, here's our English Lab, Maggie, after taking a swim.

And here's a photo of my Ebony #25 taken on a beach in England. The wet rocks made for a nice backdrop, but I had to get the photo quick before the surf came back up the beach and took my knife for a swim! :D

Duncan my friend this an EPIC!!! Love the pictures everyone and a big THANK YOU to all of you fine folks that have put up knives. I've said this many times before but this place we call The Porch is unlike any other forum that I have ever participated in. The generosity here is simply amazing and the members even more so. Wanted to post my kitty and another outdoors knife picture.

I'm just fearing that meako may put up pix of those monster snakes of his....:eek::D:D

Maybe they've eaten him?;)

Thanks for the giveaway, and everyone for their pictures.

This is Neville, my 13 year old rabbit. I took a photo of him with my Northwoods Little Bay because they are roughly the same shape as each other. Neville doesn't go outside often, so we gave him a piece of banana for being good about it.

I went on a hike today and had this Rough Rider Copperhead with me. There was a chance of rain so I wanted something stainless. It hasn't gotten much pocket time yet but I'm really impressed by this knife, it's my first Rough Rider.

13 for a Rabbit is impressive, he looks in fine shape too:cool: One of mine made it to 12 but he was only one of the dwarf types, a very friendly and interesting pet:)

RR certainly can put out a very tidy knife, I'm very keen on my Mini Copperhead (not the snake variety:D)

Not a lot of outdoor photo opportunities with buttercup because she's a couch potato, but any pictures are better than none right ? ( Would've tried to get a knife into this picture, but she was laying on my arm )
Before we got her 10 years ago an older couple was fostering her, and we were told that the man had actually nicknamed her potato. I can only assume it was because she's such a couch potato.

Btw this is such a great giveaway with so much generosity on the table that I can't help but add content.
Seeing everyone's animal best friends is such a prize in itself, that you just can't lose with this thread

I only have experience with this one rabbit, but from that and what I've heard, I think they are great pets. Neville is an excellent little grumpy presence to have around.

I'm going to have to check out some more Rough Riders.

Having a heck of a time uploading. Gotta stay away from leaves. Even cropping them isn’t helping:rolleyes::rolleyes: but I’ll keep trying! Thanks all who donated!
Thanks, Neal
