I just heard that at the end of an episode of "Homicide: Life on the Streets". Beautiful song.
I finally took photos of some of the LPs from my last crate, and hope I can get all the albums from that crate posted here this summer. Here's a start.(I think I still have a milk crate full of LPs that I have not yet photographed and posted here. I should make time to complete the "documentation" of my vinyl holdings.)
Is that Crosby, Stills, Nash, Young, Gifted, & Black?I used to sometimes post "quizzes" in this thread in which I'd show part of an album cover and challenge readers to identify the artist/LP. I'll see if I can do that again once in a while. Here's an easy one. What's this album?View attachment 1364865

Perfect!Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. "Déjà vu" if i well remember. Excellent.
Dan.
Close enough! Is that Crosby, Stills, Nash, Young, Gifted, & Black?
(Sorry-- I seem to remember that from a Saturday Night Live skit!)
Days when motorcycles were dangerous and sex with no risk.Great record!
"Guinnevere had green eyes, like yours, milady, like yours..."
45 years later i still listen to it. Where is my youth gone by ?
Edit : Miles Davis gave two great renditions of the tune (Guinnevere) on two records : "Circle in the round" and "The bitches brew sessions".
Dan.
Good one, Gary. Don't know it, but it looks so 1967 or 1968. Maybe British Invasion band. Not sure which one. Interesting cover. If no one guesses, you gotta tell us!Here's another "Who's this?" that might be slightly more challenging than my previous one.
