Probably a non-period Italian knock-off of Bargeon's.

This one (or the larger size) would have been more correct.

I love those, especially the Blandine Bellavoir /Elodie Frenck ones. There's some guy in them too.

There seems to be quite a bit of traditional knife content in this new Amazon series I'm just watching (Kevin Can .... Himself). Is this one of those RR Scrimshaw kits?

Nice one, Jack!

The only Rough Rider (or is it Ryder now?) scrimshaw kit I’ve seen comes with a two-blade trapper, and I couldn’t find a RR lockback that looked quite like that, either.

A bit more googling turned up this Böker Gentleman’s Lockback, which I think may be a match. It has the lined top bolster, no line on the bottom bolster, and the angle of the bottom bolster, position of the lockbar cutout and blade/handle shape look right to me.

"Inferno" (1953) with Robert Ryan featured a very cool traditional hunting folder while surviving in the desert with a broken leg. In my memory, it resembled a Puma folding hunting knife with stag scales, but I can't remember enough detail to determine the make and model.

Great movie!!!! Always liked Ryan. If my memory serves me, it was definitely a German looking knife with some stag scales. Good lesson there, NEVER PO both your wife and business partner at the same time! 😮

Great detective work Barrett  I've gifted a couple of those RR scrimshaw kits, so I should really know what knife they come with! :D

Especially if they're prone to . . . MURDER!

Good catch, Jack!
I saw that scene, and thought to myself, "That's...not how it works, but good on 'em for trying." 😆
I sure hope the show gets renewed for another season, so I can find out if Kevin does, or doesn't ____himself.

Thanks Rachel, I'm glad I'm not the only one who watched that show! :D I don't think I remember the last time I rooted for a character to get murdered so much! :D ;)
