I keep two knives on my desk at work, very unconventional and nothing special to anyone other then me. I’m the type of person that just can’t throw a broken knife away, it’s just not in my heart. The two knives I have had for many many years now. The top one is a Barlow from Imperial Prov RI, when I was younger I snapped the main blade off and I was devastated. This knife using the Pen blade now opens my mail. The other knife is the 1st knife that I bought myself, it is a Case Hornet that I carried everywhere and used it foe everything. I broke the tip off cleaning a deer, tried to get Case to repair it but it was long out of stock and the extra blades had all been used up. This knife I keep sharp and is a mean box cutter.

I remember Kerry saying he loved making desk knives and their ilk. They were a welcome break from the stress of making slipjoints.

I miss this knife. Perhaps the finest production slipjoint I've ever owned. It's gone to a better place, but I still miss it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with a cluttered desk. Couple more Bose desk knives.

When I get a new knife it usually has a stint somewhere on my desk so I can mess with it when I'm working. I took these pics a while back with my phone, so not that great.
