Traditional Knives & Slingshots

This email surprised me:
We would appreciate your honest, unfiltered feedback on your Hammer product.
So I did a search of this thread, and I do have a hammer product. I know where it must be. Getting the bands attached to the Axiom must have totally occupied me.

Here it is. It was on sale because it had been replaced by the new hammer.

With a Browning Gaucho Knife, which must be from France because it says "Fabrique en Chine" on the box!😁

You'll have to let us know how you find it Jer, I have several slingshots which use the Occularis system 👍

It's certainly an easy attachment system- easier than the clips.
The frame of the hammer isn't exactly minimalist.
All those quizzes I took before buying my first ssss were right- I like the Scout LT. I'll get an LT2 one of these days, and I'll be set for slingshots. (Clay bands on one and steel bands on the other.)

This is my Grim Reaper! :D

Since I traded in my wrist rocket, which happens to be illegal where I live,🙄.,Not that I care, and got one of these I've been very accurate!!!!!! Much more so.....So much that squirrels and feral cats flee at the mere sight of me......😂......I'm so good no dam. Targets left😥......I prefer moving targets.😉

Wow, that's crazy! Only a matter of time before the British legislators cotton on :( Yeah, the flat bands make them much more accurate  Maybe practice on one of these until the squirrels return, Simple Shot reckon they dance about pretty annoyingly! :D

We're getting a $60 bonus at work, and the knife I want is $78.01, so I've ordered a Scout LT2 and band clips for my Axiom, leaving me $2 for a Little Debbie Starcrunch.

I believe the knife pictured to be a second or over-run by Ju-ca.

Great way to celebrate a fine purchase.
I really like the way the LT2 fits my hand.
Admirable fixed blade you have there.👍🏻

Now I have a steel scout LT and a clay one.

I like the integral clips; they're a lot more compact.
Brilliant Jer  Clips have got a lot better, fast :) My first ones were from Wasp, and a broke them in a few shots 😖 They've improved a lot since then though

I've been enjoying shooting this beautiful Scout in G10 recently, a kind gift from Generous Bob :) It also has the integral clips

That is a beauty.

The axiom clips I ordered were a mistake. They must be for the occularis axiom. I should have realized my axiom isn't drilled. I might change that. I don't think it's worth the effort to return the clips.

Thanks mate :)

Yeah the Axiom Occularis has silicone plugs that fit in a large hole. They hold the bands by friction. Various slingshots use the design, such as this John Webb design:thumbsup:

I haven't done any slingshot shooting in probably 5 years, and the last one I made I had given to my teenage cousin so I don't have one.
I felt like getting back into it, so today I whipped up this little guy out of some scrap mahogany I had left over from some pistol grips I made a couple months back.

Once the yellow theraband tubing I ordered arrives this thing should be a great BB shooter.
It still needs a few good coats of oil, but otherwise it's done for now.
when I can start messing with it I'll figure out what tweaks & changes I need to make.
