Traditional mug shots

Devils Lake?

Yes, sir. We rarely get up there because it always books up so far in advance. Last year I was lucky enough to remember to book a couple sites in February, so my brother's family met us up there this last August. I really should hop on and book a weekend for this year now.

September 2015, decided being skinny was getting old.

I made that same decision four or five years ago. Now I'm fat. :p

My granddaughter caught me on the couch a while back. Hope it don't scare anyone.

Good to put a face with the name, Randy!

Cory, that's a great shot you posted; I'm always a sucker for "daughter & water" pics.
Here's a photo of my daughter and me on the Mediterranean coast in Denia, Spain almost exactly a year ago.

At that time, in an email exchange I promised Cory a pic of the sun rising over the ocean, and I feel guilty that I never posted one. I'm going to go off-topic and post one here; sorry for the delay, Cory! :o

Great pic there, GT. I'd say it's right on topic, as it's obviously a picture that your daughter took of you across the water. ;)

I have to agree with how nice it is to match some faces to the names we see every day. Some people look pretty much exactly how I pictured them, others are a little surprising. I have to say that the picture black mamba posted of himself didn't match my expectations going by his screenname.

its nice to see a face to the name! ill have to say black mamba was a surprise as well. and if bob didnt say that picture wasnt him, id still believe that baby was him

I'm enjoying all these pics. It's nice to see the faces behind the names and give us a peek into your worlds. I especially enjoy the family shots. Thank you everyone.

Cory and GT great pictures.

Thanks, Randy and Cory. :) That sunrise picture illustrates how geographically challenged I am. I figured Denia is on the east coast of Spain, so looking straight out over the ocean should be looking dead east. Of course, the real coast is NOT a straight north/south line, and Denia is apparently on the north side of a little peninsula, so when I looked "out to sea", I was actually gazing due north. The sun rising down the shore off to my right totally caught me by surprise!

The most surprising pictures to me in this thread are the ones that show how young some of the BF members are! I tend to take a self-centered perspective and figure most folks here are geezers like me!

Been doing this for her since she was a wee one lol

You really don't realize how few pictures of yourself you have until you go looking for one. Here's one of my oldest and I taking in the view during a hike this last summer:

These really struck home for me...made me wish my girls were still young and at home. I miss those days.

I love threads like this one. Some of you are older than I thought, while some are younger. I was born in India, and came to the US when I was 5 years old. Here's me from last year, I believe (I'm 37 now):

I love being able to put faces to names.

Thanks again to MT Damascus for getting the ball rolling, and to everyone for continuing to keep it in play. :)

Thanks for bumping this thread Sarah, made me realize I've yet to contribute!
