Traditional mug shots

Yesterday I had the absolute honor and pleasure to meet the crew and climb aboard the Navy MH-53E HM-14 Vanguard. It was awesome! This beast was first put into service May 12, 1978, which is exactly 3 years BEFORE I was born.

It is nice to be able to put a face to the names on our forum!
Here is a picture of my daughter Molly from just a few days ago. She was being annoying while I was trying to work in the kitchen so I put her phone into a vacuum seal bag!

This is the most recent family photo that I have, it was my wife's idea to wear matching cat shirts...

Great stuff guys

That 'one for the pot' pic brought back a few memories Kris! :D

Great shots! The vacuum sealed phone and the cat shirts gave me a chuckle!

Pic taken by my buddy showing my mischievous side while navigating mountain roads on a long trip through PA on the bikes. Staying at campgrounds and just day riding with no real plan...

Great pic Jake and it looks like a great to be had, hope you had a Bose in your pocket.

Out on the Big Hole on Tuesday, caught about 40 fish on streamers and nymph's, with a little dry fly action. Also caught a Grayling, which is uncommon that far down on the river. Even broke a 6wt R.L. Winston, pulling in a brown.

Nice to see someone using a flyrod. Sounds like you had a good time. Wish I had someone around here to fish with. I used to go with my dad and we'd fish mini poppers on a flyrod in the boat. Nothing like fighting a bass on a flyrod. He's too frail to go out anymore.

Jake, that sounds like a fun adventure, just riding with no plan and stopping to camp wherever!

I certainly agree with Ernie's first sentence, and really enjoy this thread for that reason.:cool:
But there are so many photos that totally destroy my preconceived notions of what BF members might look like!:D
For example, because Ernie often posts venerable, vintage pen knives, I was quite sure he was an older gentleman!!!
Obviously, Ernie's photos show that I was WAY off base; I suppose the "1980" part of his user name should have tipped me off that he might be relatively young, as such dates in user names are often birth years. Anyway, eventually I hope I'll learn my lesson that you can't "judge" a BF member simply from the knives he or she posts! :o

Baby girl is less than 24 hours old! Snuggling with daddy while mama gets some much deserved rest. The SAK and Buck 55 in my pocket will forever be linked to my sweet girl.

Sorry to hear about your dad, Glenn. If you are ever in my neck of the woods, I would love to go throw some flies together!
