My 9 year old has a thing for animals. She loves all things animal. Her first word was puppy. Enjoy the long Holiday weekend everyone.

Great pictures, Chris! She's as cute as that raccoon.

There are several of us from Arkansas. I have been here for over 20 years. If y'all are ever in the Little Rock area feel free to contact me, maybe we can get a coffee or a cold one. And talk knives or whatever.

I think my dad has some extended family in Little Rock. We've been trying to schedule a trip to fish the white river this year.
He went probably 7 or more years ago, and he is STILL talking about it.

You must be a proud poppa, Chris, what a lovely young lady.

My three girls out this weekend, 750 miles and over ten mountain passes, two at 11,000 feet. Volvo is a mountain slayer.

Nice pics Kris. Enjoy the rest of your trip. Here's my girlfriend and I at my cousins wedding reception yesterday. It was at a lodge that is also a rehabilitation animal park. All sorts of animals, were there. Pigs, miniature donkeys, Brahma's, big hares, tortoises and my favorite, elk.

Two good looking, happy people. Great pics Jake, thanks for sharing. Very cool about the animal park.

Hey guys as always nice to see your faces and put them with your forum name and virtual mental image
I want to post a photo of my wedding day almost four years ago, my wife and I with my grandparents. More than anything as a memory of my grandfather who passed away at the age of 94 this year.
He was the first one I remember carrying a pocket knife, a little taramundi around the size of a case peanut, he used to sharpen our pencils and cut our fruit with. Sadly some construction worker stole it while reforming their house.
He was a remarkable man coming from a little village working the land by daytime and in the evenings as a blacksmith mostly repairing the tools and making new ones, all to earn enough money to move to the city and be able to give his daughters a better live.
Sadly when I got into knives he was too old to teach me the craft.
We'll miss you Abuelo

Happily he was able to meet his grand grandson (don't know if you say it like that) Guille
Here we are both with a fresh haircut
