My son got his whittling chip! For those unfamiliar with BSA, a scout can not carry/use a knife on a scouting activity or event until he is a Bear and obtains his whittling chip. Although my son has been using/carrying a knife for three years, he can now do so at scouts. He's excited and dad is proud :)

That's awesome, Dan! As a former scout leader, I was extremely proud when the boys in my den earned their whittling chip. If you'd like, I'm sure I have a used-not-abused cub scout knife I can send for your son.

Thank you Glenn, that would be incredible and he would love it! I was about to reach out to you anyway about a project. I'll shoot you an email in just a bit.

Best buds. Charlie, a female cat, absolutely LOOOVES Finn and always snuggles up with him when it's nap time [emoji106][emoji56]

Oh most definitely LOL I took a nap with him over the weekend [emoji106] Nothing like being woken up by a tiny foot planted squarely in your face [emoji12] Wouldn't trade that for the world, tho!

Very happy to hear surgery went well!! We set aside some money to take care of these situations... always worth it. Thanks for being a great dog daddy WK

Daniel your boy is growing up fast you should be very proud of him.

Strada that's one fine looking boy you have there I don't think him or the cat knows the other is in the world in that picture.
