I was thinking about a few knives I've owned in the past. Amusing knives. A Goodwill Shoe knife from my home town of Holliston comes to mind shaped like the sole of a shoe. Please post them up here if you have one. This can include a baseball bat shape, stanhopes, picture knives, trick knives, ect.,the list goes on to stuff like Roy Rogers, knives forged from large nails, the tiny ones and the huge ad knives. Lets see what you got.

Little easy openers. I think they are funny because the finger radius is too small for fingers.

About my only oddballs are these leaf-bladed trick locks from Rough Rider. You depress the coping blade to release the lock on the leaf main.
I've got four different handle materials in this model, as it's a good all-purpose knife.

:thumbup:Definitely a different looking blade Jeff. Sort of looks like a bird skull or something.

Here is a brass Guinness bottle shaped folder.

Thought this might qualify, an AG Russell Cattaraugus Trapper. The main blade locks and is released by depressing the smaller blade in towards the handle. Has a phillips head driver as well. Doesn't see near enough pocket time :)

whetstone. I was looking for one of those Cattaraugus folders, even called Russell's but they are all gone. I told a very good friend and he sent me one, but it is the first model (I think) that AG had made as the handle slabs are deer (?) stag. the clip point blade is marked "A.G Russell" in an arc, with a ™ in a circle under it, then "Springdale, AR" in a straight line below the ™. On the right side is "made in Japan". I do not know who made the knife but they did a very good job, fit is very nice and it has been getting a lot of use since i got it. John

Sorry if this doesn't qualify. When I was a kid I eas really into classic trucks. I convinced my parents to buy me this. I don't remeber exactly when but probably middle school. I don't know much about it other than its not much of a knife. Real bad walk and talk and not very sharp. I doubt they thought anyone would actually use one. I hang on to it though for sentimental reasons.

John I have not seen that version but it sounds like a fantastic knife, thanks for the information .

The fit and finish is great on this version as well, I am thinking of getting a pocket sheath for it so I will carry it more often.

That qualifies Kleindra! Nice Catt Whetstone. Who made those on contract? Did Camillus have the rights to Cattaraugus?

I honestly don't know, it is a 1990 Knife Collectors Club series, made in Japan. I read somewhere AG bought the Cattaraugus name at one point? I'll do some digging. Now back to the whimsy! :)

I have a Parker Space Shuttle knife that I always liked...I'll have to post a picture tomorrow as I 'll have to locate it first;)
