Traits of a successful knife maker. My observations.

Especially clowns. God I hate clowns.

*this opinion is strictly my own and is not intended to offend any currently practicing, or would be clowns on this forum*

If you want to see the most pathetic and hilarious thing, The clown union has been making PSA's against movies like "It" "Batman" and other properties that show clowns as villains.

The best way to get over your fear of clowns is to watch a bunch of sad unemployed 30 year olds in clown make up being very sad about highly successful movies giving them a bad image.

Ive had a market of customers for my hand made culinary knives & sharpening for about two decades ... ......Success can be measured many different ways! What has always help me along is to have my own yard stick of measurement of my own internal success ...........,,...... I concentrate on my progress and congratulate whatever knife maker is on the cover of blade mag, but focus on my work!!—-//-//i make a decent living and with my wife’s health insurance, :DWe are in fine shape!——————————-I love making knives and passing on knowledge that was freely shared with me to anoob that wants to try their hand at knife making................. That’s how I met Ben some 3 years ago.he called me up and came by my shop. ......I helped where I could but I’m a stock removal maker and Ben was interested in forging and sought out knowledge with others! ——-/-I’m 59 y/o ,, I’m always inspired when I meet with Ben or any other young person that is willing to grab the tiger by the tall and get working!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Again with the not refunding the $20

Don't devalue your product by discounting it.

Spend that much on premium delivery shipping or something that will tickle the customer.

Some people really get off on stickers or patches, or whatever.

I concur! Discounting is the kiss of death for knife makers! I charge a solid price & I get half down on all orders. Balance on Delivery..

Those are the clowns I am most frightened of!

I'm very sorry if some of the words written on my side are lost in the translation English is not my native language, I read and understand it very well but writing is far more difficult, especially because in English some words have multiple meanings while in my language it is not so. After all, it would be interesting to try the same yourself in your own foreign language if you have this skill at all.

Mr Chumaman - may I ask what country you are from? I do fully understand your statement about expressing yourself in a foreign language - it's VERY difficult. I do admire your ability with multiple languages. Ken H>
