This stockman seems to hog about 2/3 of my pocket time since purchase.

Prior to that, a trapper was my most carried/used knife.

Must also confess, I like long slender blades and knives that are around 4 inches. :D
I got similar tastes, Del.

I have and use all three patterns, but the large stockman is my definite favorite. The "improved" moose would be next in line, and the Wharncliffe trapper would place third for me.

The guidelines are the guidelines. They're meant to be followed. Any questions, please take them to PMs (conversations).
There's one thread in this sub-forum where it's appropriate to post a modern knife, along with a traditional, Traditional and Modern pairings.
Let's get back on topic, please.

I read somewhere that the Trapper is the most popular pattern.
Do you prefer a full size Trapper
It was probably in one of my many posts you read that.:p

Seriously though I keep coming back to the Trapper (and then taking off the spay blade) ;)
I have a few more that are not in these photos. A Case Dark Red Jigged Bone with CV comes to mind . . .

The white one in the photo above is not the same as this white one below. I dig the white Sparxx.
I just got the latter yesterday (cut off the spay blade last night) carried it today.
I love these ! The way it fits my hand and fits my light duty everyday tasks.
The one above has the red shield the one below has the black shield. A guy has to have one of each.
