I think the Tidioute 73 pattern suits me all the way,I like simple and usable.

I just darkened my handle using several coats of chopping board oil.

Is there a single blade version that is easy to open or pinch open that I should search for?

If I had to say one of my knives was the “nicest”, it would probably be this early schrade walden trapper jack. Pictures don’t do justice. It’s just amazing.
