Tree Chopping Challenge **TREE DOWN!!!**

I am trying to upload videos right now. Part 1 of 2-14-13 (Thursday) is uploading right now, then I will try to get the two videos I got today. I've been having some trouble with Photobucket, then I went to try YouTube and it worked for one video, but I can't get it to work for part of 2-14-13. Fingers crossed.

Videos are uploaded. I got some chopping done and will try to get those uploaded as well. You will also see some blood in the new videos that I still have to upload.

You might try attaching a longer handle so you can get more force into your chopping. Under the stated rules I can't see how that wouldn't be allowed. :D

Get like 2 foot chunk of a 2x4, cut out a notch at one end to fit the handle into, then tie it on as tight as you can. It should be fairly sturdy and you'll be able to swing it much harder.

Yeah that would definitely help with the chopping. It would be pretty hard to film it though by hand, and there's nothing nearby to lean the phone on.

This thread is too funny. I haven't watched any of the videos yet (I'm at work), but I am definitely subscribed.

I almost feel like I'm doing this for your guys' entertainment, which I probably am. I have to keep reminding myself why I'm doing this because this tree is making me go insane. I'm uploading the first video that I did Sunday, and I'll try to get the one after that uploaded also. I did some chopping today but didn't video it because I didn't have a phone to do it on and I didn't want to waste any time. What I did today was kind of re-do my main cut. I just chopped everything off and I'm going to start over because my first cut was to "steep". I also put some electrical tape on the tree to mark where on the tree I want to cut so I'm not all over the place.

O man even with gloves you have to be hurting in the hands. Just watching your vids, I want to run up there witha hatchet and help.... Just a few chops lol.

The handle is so thin that I have to hold it kind of funny to get a good chop. Trust me, I've thought of getting the hatchet. I have to keep fighting the urge. You'll see blood in these next two videos. It hasn't stop bleeding since lol. I have to keep a band-aid on my finger or blood starts trickling down my finger.

this should be interesting

Good luck

I think I would have chosen pretty much any other knife than a fixed Skyline for this challenge. But, that's why it's a challenge. ;) Subbed!

Who uses bandaids for cuts? I give you credit I think I would have given up but in a way it makes me wish I had a tree in my yard to start chopping on
