Geeze, even if he really was gonna send you his whole collection that's so not worth it. At 15 I had some decent knives and some crap. I did have one bowie that would have taken that tree down in a day or two. For a $20 knife from pakistan that thing held up very well for a long time.

If I may suggest; maybe consider a lanyard and using more of a snap-cut type method? A little more efficient and more importantly
it would make you hit your hand on the tree less...

Its simply the fact of your persistence to defeat the odds and the extreme amount of patience you are exhibiting. If it were me, you would have seen me bust out a chainsaw halfway through video 1.
