I have no doubt that REK won't make a production model unless the manufacturing capabilities of the OEM are very well established, and that the quality control on them will be better than any of the big knife companies that we tend to like so much. My midtech version is legitimately the best tuned framelock that I've ever felt. I've felt a lot of really good quality knives, but this one feels like a lot of hand tuning went into it.
