Trio Set

WOW...incredible find Armand. I once had the 6", and I used it some and liked it. A fellow collector wanted it to complete a set, so I let it go. If I had the whole set, it would be a "keeper".

My Trio set arrived today, a day earlier than planned and I'm very pleased with everything. My only complaint if you can call it that is that all three knives are completely dull. The lack of an edge is identical on all three knives and I mean identical. There isn't a lick of an edge any where on any blade. You'd think that one knife would have seen more use then another or that some degree of edge would still be present near the hilt of some were but not these. I'm almost thinking they never got an edge from the factory. Anyway I'll get them sharpened up as time allows and will get some pics some time this week

P.S. I knew it was good sized but the 9" knife is a honker of a blade and for a piece of kitchen cutlery isn't got more than a little bit of wicked to it. I could get medieval on side of beef with this thing.

Glad you like it. I find many that came that way. Did you get the walnut display case? DM

Yep, case included. You can see some use on the case from removing and inserting the knives which is about the only reason I don't think they left the factory dull. Who ever had them didn't know how to sharpen them and thankfully didn't try or have someone else do it that didn't know how. I'm finding the largest one a little bit of a challenge on my Sharpmaker due to the length but I'm taking my time. Once I get them sharp they'll stay that way.
