Mate the only thing stopping you is the weight restriction on my luggage !!!! As it is I am going to have to make a single pair of undies last the three weeks...!!!!!!!!!!

This time next week I will be in Mozambique !!! :eek: :eek: :eek: I finish work tomorrow and have the weekend and Monday to get packed properly !!!!

Yeah, starting to get a bit excited now. Lots of work BS to overcome before I finish up tomorrow so at the moment that is the ficus, once that is done then I think the penny will really drop !!!
 
I look into safaries occasionally myself. Choosing the country is key when exploring this very large continent; why did you choose Mozambique?
 
Two fold mate, price was a big factor, it is still expensive but less so than many other locations, it remains (as much as anywhere in Africa) reasonably politically stable, important when you are paying a year or two in advance, and that I got recommended, what I hope is going to turn out to be, a good company with great concessions and an enviable success rate. We shall see I guess..!!!

you are welcome mate. Who's GPS collar do you think that was .... ;) ;) LOL

No lion for me. Cape Buffalo, Croc, Kudu, Warthog... maybe some others depending on the $$s. all the trophy fees are payable in US $$s CASH. Buffalo is paid up front already. I am MOST worried about wandering around with the amount of $US I have already. Most of the trip was paid for when the $A was worth over $.90US (lots at close to parity) I just bought $US5K at a rate of ) $US0.70 and that HURT !!!!

Thanks all. Clock is ticking now. Bag is almost packed, camera gear needs charging and a few things are in the wash that will need to dry before they go in. Get a hair cut tomorrow, pick up some atomic insect and lion repellent and I am almost there I think... ;)
