Trip Preparations

Great Plan! Put the knife away after one though, don't want to win a trip to hospital just before you go.;)

Have a Great Trip My Friend!!!
... I had considered the drinking and stropping issues.... ;) A bit like the ankle I sprained a week ago chasing the escaped boy dog up the street.... it is better but still only about 75% !!!

Safe travels man! Be sure to get gigs of pics and share 'em here.
....certainly is my plan mate... !!! As long as I don't come across any extraordinarily large angry man eating swine I should be able to cope with anything.... ;)

Hummmmm well it seems I am packed.... with 24hrs to go..... ;) Just have to go get a haircut (as my flowing golden locks may be too much for the locals) and grab some atomic bug juice. Then relax...maybe watch Zulu Dawn or something this afternoon.

Well, get some rest, and then have a GREAT time on your hunt! We are all looking forward to your pics when you return.;)

Be safe and have fun Andy.... Lots of pics expected. Most of us live the world traveler lifestyle through your pictures....

Thanks mate :D Leaving for the airport in about 30mins so getting a little excited now... ;)

Thanks all, at the airport lounge now :).

Had a bit of a horror run through the airport to get this far, lines out the door and butt molested to the value of a new ASH1 for 6kgs of excess baggage !!!!!!! Bastages!!! Boarding in 20mins.

Be good and play nice in my absence !!!!

Back in Johannesburg from Mozambique, had a truly brilliant hunt and trip !!! My head is still spinning !!! Saw some wonderful things and met great people, saw how $ drive the wheels of bourocracy in a third world nation (I refused the additional fee to rectify the "issue" with my firearms licence and they finally gave up !), I have seen what a lion charge looks like up close (from the cab of a pickup) and what the crocs in the Zambezi eat to make them grow so large !!! Just WOW !!! To cap it off I have just spent the last couple of days in Kruger Nat Park with my camera. Some great pics I hope (though the animal pics from there mean less to me than those I took on foot up in the bush, even if they are not nearly as good image wise).

Catching up with a mate here in Joburg tomorrow, some rest I hope Saturday (it has been FULL ON the past couple of weeks) and then start the journey home on Sunday.

I could (time and money permitting) turn around and go start doing it all again tomorrow!!! My back may have other ideas thanks to the "wonderful" state of the roads in Mozambique;)

Great to see you had a good trip. In your absence I was able to purchase 637 ASH1's off the BF Exchange. Heading out of town again soon, then?...;-)

Wow Andy, missed this thread before you left--glad to hear you're having a great time and I'm looking forward to your pics! Stay safe, have fun, and do your best to avoid the occasional Coup d'état

Andy!

Great to see that you've had such a great time....errr, how big do the crocs get?...... I can wait 'till you've returned;) for that answer. Cheers mate!
