Trip to Escanaba

+1 on the Congrats! BTW how about some double edged fighters too! Have a nice trip Andy, take care, we'll see ya soon! :D

Good thinking Vance. I am authorizing you to profile a dozen CPM 154 Padres tomorrow. Hurry up and heat treat them too and glue up some handles so that it is too late to turn back next week. :D You owe us for torturing us all the time with pictures of your Padre.

Remember that it is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

While you're at it, could you tee up a 1/8" EFT Santokumuk for me. Just confirm and I'll have Dominos deliver lunch at the shop today :D

I think I hear over the PA system "Allen to the Convex grinding station, please. Allen to Convex grinding."
I'm digging the convex grind on the Stingray he posted tonight.
Now to convince him to grind a Padre. Or two. Or five.

Hi folks. I thought while I'm taking a break from doing Hiking Buddy and Runt production trays that I would update y'all about the trip. The trip to Escanaba was GREAT! I learned a ton from Mike, including many new suppliers and techniques. I also met the man who sells all of Arno Bernard's knives, and also owns a machine shop and gun store. It was a very eventful trip. Plus, I got to hang out with Derrick and he made the video that was posted earlier this week in the BRKT shop.

Glad you had a good trip Andrew. I've been to Michigan but never to the U P. I admit, I'm a little jealous. :)

I'm excited to see what you do with what you learned up there. I mean, honestly, how could Fiddleback Forge get any more awesome??
