I have sent several emails and PMs with only 1 response from him, but he continues to be on the forum daily.

We made a trade his DOC for one of my medfords. That trade went good, once he got the medford and I had the DOC he sent me an email and told me to keep him in mind if I ever wanted to get rid of the DOC. So I said what will you trade for it, we settled on his Reate Valkyrie 2. He told me he couldn't ship till Friday 5/6 or 5/7 Saturday at the latest, and would send me the DC number. I sent the DOC and he has it.

This was my last contact from him on 5/9
Thought I emailed you a pic of the tracking slip. I'll check in the am, and/or Send it again if need be.

Here is a link to his original trade thread.

Every time communication gets sparse like this, while a member continues to be active on the forum it usually means you have lost your knife.

I will be very happy if he is just not communicating. I did not receive the knife today.

I sent at least 1 PM today and 1 email with no response from him.

Well from what I see from other members, no response or knife is very out of character for him! Hopefully I will hear something from him soon.

Got an email looks like val 2 went to wrong addres, I will post an update when I get the Val 2.

Just got home from a 72 hour hospital stay. Any time anyone turns on the computer, BF is my home page, so sorry if you felt I was ignoring you. I sent you an email, please let me know what you would like me to do. Apologies for the confusion. For the record, I trade a LOT (check my feedback) and the worst thing in the world I can do to my wife is ask her to do any mailing for me. Once again, let me know how you'd like me to proceed.

Also, in calemerson's defense, there was a shipping snafu on my end, so I can't blame him for being concerned. Just wanted to state that for the record.

I think you are a little quick to the trigger here. Last you heard from him was ~24hrs. Looking at your history indicates you have done this before.

And this one where we don't really know what happened:

....

Don't jump to conclusions, life happens!

^ I hope that you're feeling better, big D!

^ I think that most of us here can relate, to the anxiety calemerson's feeling; waiting for his end of a trade to arrive. I typically never stress too much over a transaction, with the exception of a couple of trades I've done; the fact that with trades, there isn't any type of PayPal protection involved. Only trust.

It's nice to see that this is going to have a positive conclusion.

Take care of yourself, big guy!

I can vouch for recon0317; nothing but an excellent deal made with him. On the plus, he's a very personable guy. We talked about real life issues and he offered his support if needed. Good dude fo sho!

Now, I think this thread should be closed to prevent tainting this man's name.

The sad thing is that the opposite ends up happening, when you have people that consistently panic on a public forum, people tend to notice and take appropriate actions.

Patience is a virtue and is a necessity when transacting here. Anything less than good faith leads to a a damning reputation. Some folks want things yesterday, and it's folks like that I tend to steer clear of while on the forums and in real life. I'd recommend that the OP take a deep breath, stop the email bombing and learn to trust a little more in the community.

We live and we learn. This a-bit-too-quick thread is partly my fault. He originally reported it the mods, and I shrugged it off. Next day I told him it was GBU material. Yes, but ...

We'll let this play out and correct the title.
