Trough report?

What is the knife in the lower left hand corner with white/ black G10 and snake handle?
It looks like a BA crossed with a SJ?

#1 FSH clip point with hand shaped black G10 and solid pins

#2 satin B11s

Looks like a TAC handle, so depending on blade length, either a Badger Attack or Satin Jack. ETA it's probably a Badger Attack TAC as the blade length looks to be ~5" whereas a SJ TAC would be the same length as the ASH-1 next to it.

I agree on the TAC handle and blade length but it sure doesn't look like a Badger blade shape. Not enough blade height or belly.
Looks like a really functional design...almost like a basic 5 with as large choil.

Did anyone buy this guy or have better pics or it? or planning on listing it on the exchange? ;)

It was such a awesome night....just got home :):)

Thank you Everyone:)

I wanna see some more pics of those persian fighters damnit!! also CGm9's with g10? :D

I'm guessin the satin B11s are gonna go fast.... awesome show!!

When I left the show today, there were 3 on the table, one even was asymetric grind.

The satin B-11s looked pretty cool (wait, did I let the cat out of the bag?)

As for that snakeskin one, it was a BATAC. I handled it for a while and just thought it was a regular BATAC with G-rexed snakeskin, I don't think it was altered any. Pretty sweet knife.

The angles of the pics can be tricky. It's in your other thread in the pics you took later on. I'm surprised it lasted which means it was priced right.

My "Spy in the Sty" (:D) tells me that this BATAC variant has a clip point spine (similar to a NARK w/o the serrated band breaker, I'm guessing) and a regular BATAC is a drop point. It's .22" thick at the ricasso while the BATAC LE & SE versions are .27" and the CG is .187" (3/16th). The handle looks like it might have been slimmed down a little... the "humps" along the tang at the middle tube fastener don't look quite as wide, but this is a guess.

...And yes, it definitely looks like a pretty sweet knife! ;)

Thanks for the modded BATAC info M67 & Jaxx. I sure hope I see it for sale again!

What does "priced right" mean? not cheap? I've never been to KC or blade, so I'm out of the loop on that comment.

Also, what's G-rexed snakeskin? And how is it different from normal snakeskin?
Thanks.

It wasn't that much if I remember right, but it seemed not to sell because it didn't have full snakeskin scales. And G-rexed means that it has that G-10 top to it to give it two scales.

It was pretty cool, and my first time seeing snakeskin in person. But... I'm just not that big into BATACs.

The snakeskin the Shop has left is in thin stock, too thin for a complete handle slab. Thats why they layer it in the G-Rex style.
